Trails

The Community Betterment Project has developed a plan to expand the Municipal Park recreation trail. The Floyd Valley Greenspace Project will go from the existing Municipal Park Trail thru West Floyd Park, past the ciy Airport and terminate at the Wells Dairy Corporate Headquarters. 6.2 miles of trails under the Community Betterment Project are planned for which 5 have been completed.

Community Wellness Center

In 2003 the former Westmar Lifesports Center has taken on yet another name change to the Community Wellness Center to become the one stop for all your recreation needs. The facility is home of the City of Le Mars YMCA, Indoor Aquatic Center, Le Mars Wrestling Club, Le Mars TaeKwonDo.

Please call during the holiday seasons, to confirm facility hours.

Facility Rentals

Contact the City of Le Mars YMCA at 546-6655 or view website at www.lemarsymca.org for all facility concerns and rentals. The CWC is a great place to hold family reunions, birthday parties,holiday gatherings, school gatherings, prom parties, tournaments, or practice for all those traveling teams.

Welcome to the Le Mars Municipal Golf Course. This 27 hole championship golf course is an exciting challenge for players of all skill levels. It is characterized by large lush fairways, bent grass greens, and Willow Creek winding through the holes.

The original 9 holes opened in 1936 with the second 9 opening in 1991 and a third 9 holes in 2006. The golf course touts a fully equipped pro shop. Our Tee Time Policy accepts reservations 7 days in advance by calling 712-546-6849.
