Wells Dairy was founded by Fred H. Wells in 1913 upon the purchase of a horse, a delivery wagon, a few milk cans and jars and the goodwill of the business from Ray Bowers, a dairy farmer in Le Mars, Iowa - all for $250. See why Wells' Dairy has grown to become the largest family owned and managed dairy processor in the United States.
