Le Mars Virtual Building and Smart Site

The Le Mars Smart Site is 8.26 acres located south of 24th Street SW near Lincoln Avenue SE in Le Mars, Iowa. The proposed 27th Street borders the south side of the site with a single-tracked, city-owned, industrial railroad spur bordering the site on the east. Industrial Parks

Known for its food processing companies; Le Mars is home to a variety of manufacturing facilities, as well as cold and dry storage distribution centers. The majority of these companies are located in the industrial parks on the south edge of Le Mars. Killeas Industrial, Le Mars Industrial Second Edition and Le Mars Industrial South are all adjacent to U.S. Highway 75 and within two miles of State Highways 3 and 60; these Industrial Parks feature easy access to nationwide markets. Le Mars Industrial Second Addition offers lots with rail access.

Business Parks

Located immediately off of U.S. Highway 75, the main corridor connecting Minneapolis, Omaha and Kansas City; the Le Mars Business Park offers a Wal-Mart Super Center along with other retail, service and professional businesses.

The Business Park site currently includes a native area featuring a pond and a walking/biking trail. Three hotels/motels and a restaurant are adjacent to the Park which is located one mile south of the "Ice Cream Capital of the World®" Visitor Center. This 2000 Iowa Tourism Attraction of the Year award winner welcomed 60,000 guests in its first two years.
