9:30 - 10:30 a.m. • Chamber Coffee hosted by the Ice Cream Parlor, 115 Central Avenue NW - The Parlor hosts a Chamber event to kick off Ice Cream Days. All are welcome to stop by the newly re-imagined Parlor!
5:00 p.m. • Tri State Drive In Cruisers at Bob’s Drive Inn, Highway 75 South - Enjoy music from the ‘50s & ‘60s while strolling through a collection of restored, classic, street-rod, and muscle cars. Free soft serve ice cream cones compliments of Bob’s Drive Inn, Dean Foods Le Mars and BoDeans Baking Co.
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. • Dr. James Schaap Le Mars Public Library, 46 1st Street SW - Dr. Schaap will discuss “coming home” in reference to Le Mars’ most famous author, Curtis Harnack, and the memories he shares in We Have All Gone Away.
7:00 - 8:30 p.m. • Splash Dance Le Mars Outdoor Swimming Pool, 300 12th Street SE
Kick off Ice Cream Days with a Splash Dance at the Outdoor Pool. Q102 will be broadcasting live while providing music and entertainment. Only $1/person and lots of fun, games and music.

Foster Park, 600 Central Avenue SE - A time capsule filled with items from Le Mars citizens will be buried in Foster Park. Viewing of the items and a short program will take place in the northwest corner of the Park.

8:00 p.m. • Le Mars Municipal Band Concert, Foster Park, 600 Central Avenue SE - This fifty-piece
band of professional and amateur musicians provides an “old-fashioned” concert in the park for the 113th year. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on while enjoying this popular family activity.
