I began working in Le Mars at the Milk plant in 2005 and officially made this community my home in 2011.
I initially sought public office driven by a commitment to deepening my community involvement and serving as a fiscally responsible steward for the city's taxpayers. My core philosophy is centered on the principle that local government is the most effective platform for creating meaningful change, as it operates closest to the citizens it represents. I am focused on ensuring transparency, efficiency, and prudent resource management within the city’s operations, advocating for policies that promote the long-term well-being of Le Mars residents.
I have four children; two have graduated, one is attending Kluckhon Elementary and one is attending Le Mars Community Middle School. When I'm not focused on council duties or working, I enjoy spending time outdoors pursuing my hobbies of fishing, hunting, and camping.
